Thursday

this is my pup daisy mae.
she was a rescue pup that we found on the side of the road.
her nickname is 'chi-wennie' and B calls her 'dais-icha".

these photos were taken in our yard which has recently turned into a wild daisy field .
enjoy.

Wednesday

 every fall our lake level slowly drops down to winter pool. it is sad to see the beautiful lake fall BUT honestly....it's so cold out who wants to ride the boat (not me)!!

what we normally do is hunt for arrowheads (and we find a TON of them), clean up debris around our area, and go exploring!

on a typical sunny day (which we have not seen many here in the past week but we have had some warm weather) we will walk for several hours along the lake bed looking to see what we find.

i do not recommend walking barefoot as there a lot of inconsiderate lake goers out there that will toss a glass bottle into the water without thinking. we come across broken glass very often. (try telling my 8 year old to keep his waders on....yeah right...boys like to get muddy)

 this photo was taken up river on ketchepedrakee creek.

 i love to collect interesting pieces of driftwood (psst: keep your eye open for the april issue of lake wedowee life magazine there just might be some driftwood crafts showing up in there by yours truly)

a day of river walking would not be complete without taking your lake dog.

Friday

i recently had the opportunity to photograph miss emily chupp
{who just so happens to be competing in the miss teen alabama usa contest on december 7th }

i took these head shot's specifically for the contest and you can guarantee i will be rooting her on.

these photos were taken on her boyfriend tyler's family farm.
you can also see the lipham family photos taken at the same farm here.

good luck emily! i am so thankful for the opportunity to meet you and to photograph you!

Monday

here are some more photos of mackenzie's sweet 16.
there were so many detail's to this party it was hard to capture them all and do the photobooth!

i had such a great time with mackenzie and her family & friends.
i made some new signs for the booth and the girls {and guys} love them!
i hope they all had as much fun as i did!

the party was at "the warehouse" in roanoke, alabama
{my second event at this wonderful place}

He is down visiting his boy and wants to branch out into a new field aside from making toys & making mischief. Follow along on his photojournalism adventure as well as his mischief making adventures here.
